Refrigerators and freezers contain two major components. First is the condenser coil, and secondly the evaporator coil. A compressor and a motor circulate liquid coolant through the system.
The liquid’s temperature is lowered by the condenser and then flows into the evaporator. Once inside of the evaporator, the refrigerators air is cooled by coming in contact with the cool air inside of the evaporator coil.
